UCV Plain Speaker is shortly to run a new article about the Strategic Outline Case for transforming Calderdale and Greater Huddersfield NHS and social care.
If you are involved in social care in Calderdale in any way at all, the UCV Plain Speaker article would like to report your views about what the Strategic Outline Case proposes for the future of social care. There is an online survey further down this page, where you can say what you think.
The Strategic Outline Case (SOC) proposes to completely transform social care as well as the NHS in Calderdale and Greater Huddersfield.
The SOC is a plan from Calderdale and Huddersfield Foundation Trust (CHFT), Locala and the mental health trust South West Yorkshire Foundation NHS Trust Partnership (SWYFPT), about how to make the Strategic Review proposals happen.
The SOC’s most notorious proposal is to close Calderdale A&E, but it’s of great importance for everyone involved in social care because the SOC also proposes to completely transform social care.
If you are willing to comment, please will you let me have your comments via the survey, today (18 March) if possible, (but later is also ok, because I can update the article)
UCV Plain Speaker will not reveal or share your contact details with anyone. Data Protection rules apply. UCV Plain Speaker will only identify you by name or any other means if you consent to being quoted on the record. More info in the online survey (below)
The relevant SOC statements that the questions refer to are all on p19 of the document.
You can read the SOC here (but be warned, it’s a horrible read, full of jargon and not at all clear.)
