Calderdale College  commissioned Jefferson Sheard Architects to design a Sustainable Environmental Technologies Centre. Building work started in 2012 and the Centre is due to  open in September 2013.

Andrew Rodney, Calderdale College Director for Business Development & Marketing believes,

  1. It’s fantastic that Calderdale has built a SET Centre. It seems to be well thought out and designed. Just a pity that although it contains lots of great sustainable technologies (like PVs and solar thermal) it wasn’t built with sustainable materials too. Lets hope that the trainees who attend can learn about them.
