I looked out of the window on the 142 bus going up Wilmslow Road and saw a beautiful small wooden eco house. It’s called a Dwelle.ing and was designed by Manchester architect Ric Frankland for the 2011 Greenbuild Expo. It took two days to build, costs £75,000, is zero carbon and built to Passive House standards.
what is going to happen to this house? There doesnt seem to be any way to get to see inside or anything. Is someone going to be able to live there?
I don’t know. I’m going to contact them and see if I can come and talk to them and write a report to post on Energy Royd so that it’ll all be clearer.
