Hebden Bridge new sustainable houses

The new Pennine 2000 sustainable houses in Foster Lane, Hebden Bridge (being built to Code for Sustainable Homes levels 5 & 4, which means they’ll be quite low carbon to run and will also be ecologically friendly in terms of water use, waste etc) are nearly at the stage of having the first floor beams put in (next week). They have loads of underfloor insulation that was put in a couple of weeks ago before the floors were added, and also thick carvity wall insulation everywhere – including in the cavities between the houses.

The three houses will be finished in July. The Pennine 2000 board on the building site says they will be three family homes and to contact Pennine 2000 if you’re interested in renting one of them.
